My love for literature began when I was in 7th grade, and I picked up a copy of The Hobbit. Ever since embarking on that magical journey with Bilbo and his dwarf companions, I have had a nearly insatiable thirst for stories. Books are definitely my go-to when it comes to satisfying that craving, but I enjoy other mediums as well.

I’ve been reading almost my entire life, but only recently have I made the decision to begin writing reviews in earnest. Part of me dislikes the process of dissecting a book, picking apart the failings and successes found there. And yet, part of me knows that it is very important to read critically, and to know why you like or dislike something.
